Guys .. When you go into project requirements gathering and effort sizing hor (I mean software), please bear in mind, you really need to put in effort for that. Initial requirements gathering, initiate meetings and be on a bit. It will help you get a clearer picture and sizing will be better. Even after you met up with users, your sizing will still be too low. So after you get an overall sizing, get bosses to clear with you, especially those that dealt with major projects for a long time, their input and estimation, to your surprise is, wah !!! Can give me 4 digit for 4D or not !!! Anyway, this is my observation till now. Will update you guys on how we do our project sizing for the initial phase, I think everyone of us can benefit from this info. Meanwhile, don’t miss me.
